The Hyundai Genesis Coupe pulled onto the open road for the first time last year and raced past the competition in head-to-head comparisons. With numerous improvements inside and out, the 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe seems likely to keep setting the pace.
This year’s Genesis Coupe has arrived at Hyundai of St. Augustine, a leading Jacksonville Hyundai dealer. There customers will find an ample stock of not only the Genesis Coupe and Sedan, but also other new 2011 Hyundai models including the Accent, Elantra, Sonata, Tucson and Veracruz.

To meet the needs of a wide range of drivers, the Genesis Coupe comes in six trims: 2.0T, 2.0T R-Spec, 2.0T Premium, 3.8 R-Spec, 3.8 Grand Touring, and 3.8 Track.
At the heart of the Genesis, pumping adrenaline-infused power through its veins, are two engines: a turbocharged, 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder and a 3.8-liter Lambda V6. The four-cylinder, which features a cast-aluminum cylinder block and head, churns out 210 horsepower and 223 lb.-ft. of torque. The V6 meanwhile generates 306 horsepower and 266 lb.-ft. of torque, which allows it to fly from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 5.5 seconds. The V6 in this year’s Genesis also benefits from a new Variable Intake System that allows the cylinders to breathe more efficiently, improving acceleration, passing and fuel efficiency.
Both engines are mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission, while several trims are available with an optional automatic transmission. The Genesis Coupe also features a rigid body structure, sport-tuned MacPherson front suspension and independent rear suspension for outstanding handling and control.
Another area of the Genesis that received special attention is its interior. The Genesis highlights Hyundai’s commitment to refined interior spaces and the use of high-quality materials for the new model year.
Among the improvements within the Genesis Coupe are: soft-touch, matte-finish surfaces on door panels, glove box and instrument panel; dark, metalgrain accents on the center stack, door handles, air vent register bezels, and steering wheel trim; a softer, premium leather steering wheel; padded door armrests; cloth-wrapped A-pillars; chrome finish on various center stack knobs and gauge rings; and enhanced graphics on its multi-information display.
Jacksonville Hyundai enthusiasts eager to get a look at the improvements to the 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe should schedule a test-drive at Hyundai of St. Augustine on the web: http://www.hyundaiofstaugustine.com
With a wide inventory of Hyundai vehicles and some of the most knowledgable and helpful associates in the business, Hyundai of St. Augustine should be the dealer of choice for customers in Northern Florida shopping for a vehicle.
