The 2012 Genesis 5.0 R-Spec model will be powered by a new Tau V8 engine producing 429 horsepower and 376 lb. ft. of torque.  This new Tau V8 represents the most powerful Hyundai engine ever, with a higher specific output (85.8 hp/liter) than its premium luxury competitors.  The Tau 5.0-liter V8 is coupled with a new in-house eight-speed transmission. Finished in a pearlescent midnight blue with a color-matched version of Prada’s signature black-and-gold highlights on the grill, badging, and door handles. , the majority of the modifications made to the Hyundai Genesis Prada are tastefully understated.
